Youth Choir

26 students selected by audition presented a 14-day
concert tour of Austria and Italy in June 2000

Performance at Vienna's famed Konzerthaus

The European tour included performances in Austria at the United Nations and the American Embassy, at Bad Tatzmansdorf, Tulln, Wilhelmsburg, The School for the Arts at Neulengbach and a Lions Club benefit concert at Vienna’s famed Konzerthaus. The group traveled to perform a Red Cross benefit in Udine, Italy. In addition to performing, the group toured Vienna, Salzburg and Venice enjoying the history as well as the rich musical and cultural life of these great cities. The performance entitled "American Music in Song and Dance" offered a variety of music styles including Broadway, Country/Western, Children’s Themes, Jazz/Swing, Folk Songs and Americana, and Rockin’ Oldies.

FSPA Youth Choir 2003 will return for performances abroad next year. Auditions will be held in Fall 2002.
