FSPA Gala and Auction to Support
Students’ Patriotic Concert Tour of U.S. Cities

FRANKLIN – Kids ‘N America, a select ensemble of 30 musical theater students at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts, will present a Gala Performance on Saturday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Dean College in Franklin including a full concert followed by a gala reception of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a CD Release Party, short live auction, and a raffle drawing. The Gala serves as a fundraiser for the ensemble’s patriotic concert tour of New York, Washington D.C. and Orlando scheduled for this summer.

The American Pride Tour includes performances at such venues as the United Nations in New York, the Smithsonian and Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C. and a 4th of July celebration in Disney World. Following the events of September 11th, these FSPA students devoted themselves to a program of uplifting and upbeat American music, staged and choreographed to demonstrate their patriotism and to share their youthful exuberance. The concert includes such favorites as "God Bless America," "Yankee Doodle Dandy," "Proud to be an American," "R-O-C-K in the USA," "This Land is Your Land," and many more.

Tickets for the Gala Performance at Dean College are $40 per couple, $25 per person and $15 per student. Call FSPA prior to June 10 at 508-528-8668 to make your reservation. Live auction items include weekend get-aways, Celtics game tickets, a sailboat sunset cruise, airline tickets and more. "Expressing our Patriotism Through Music" is sponsored by the Franklin Performing Arts Company.
