Placement Auditions to be held for
FSPA SummerStage Production of THE WIZ

FRANKLIN - The Franklin School for the Performing Arts will hold placement auditions for its SummerStage production of The Wiz on Saturday, May 18 at 11:30 a.m. for children in Grades 3-5, at 12:15 p.m. for Grades 6-8, and at 1:30 p.m. for Grades 9-12 at 38 Main Street in Franklin. All students registered for SummerStage will be cast in the show. Students should prepare 16 measures of a song to sing.

SummerStage, FSPA's summer musical theater program, offers classes in voice, acting, dance, set design and production and concludes with a musical at the end of the 5-week session. This program gives students in Grades 3 and up an opportunity to participate in a production from start to finish. SummerStage classes are held for 3 hours a day, Monday - Thursday from July 15-August 15. Previous SummerStage productions have included The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Bye Bye Birdie, Anything Goes, The Pirates of Penzance, Barnum and School House Rock-Live!
